he
Committee for
the Bendigo Motorcycle Expo 2011
would like to invite
you to the upcoming Motorcycle
Expo to be held in Bendigo, Central
Victoria at the Prince
of Wales Showgrounds Exhibition Building and
Oval. The event will be held
on Saturday the 19th
and Sunday the 20th
of March 2011.
This
is the second such event to be held in Central Victoria, and is an
opportunity to further increase your local business and exposure. At
this stage we the Bendigo
Motorcycle Expo Inc (BME) are in the
planning and organising stage of the event, and we are inviting
businesses and manufacturers both local and mainstream to come on
board and take the opportunity to display their product to a large
number of people that are interested in viewing and purchasing
motorcycles/scooters for both on and off road.
We
have opted for an Autumn Expo to get away from the spring rush of
motorcycle events. Autumn weather tends to be more predictable and
this period is after the Christmas/New Year and the kids back to
school expenditures. We feel that your company will only benefit from
the exposure of a professionally organised Expo in a location that is
central to a large catchment area.
The
Bendigo
Exhibition Centre is located at the Prince of Wales
Showgrounds less than 3kms from the Central Business
District.
Bendigo is conveniently located in the geographic centre of Victoria,
situated at the junction of the Calder, Mclvor, Midland and Loddon
Valley Highways. Bendigo has excellent connections to other
interstate highways, placing more than 90 per cent of the state's
population within a two hour drive. Bendigo is serviced by high
quality road, and rail links making it truly accessible to a vast
number of potential buyers and motorcycle enthusiasts.
We
feel this is a unique opportunity as there is no other Expo of this
kind outside of a major city. It is anticipated that the Expo will
feature the major manufacturers of on and off road motorcycle i.e.
Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Triumph etc, also
the smaller motorcycle manufacturers, scooter manufacturers, leather
goods, customised parts manufacturers after market suppliers,
airbrush artists, motorcycle trailer manufacturers, finance and
banking advisers, insurance representatives, pins and badges,
memorabilia, basically if it has anything to do with motorcycles of
any description it will be there.
The
2011 Expo will be bigger in that we will have an outside and inside
area available. We are including a Show and Shine for both male and
female bikers. The outside area will also lend itself to a motorcycle
ONLY swap meet. Camper trailer Exhibitors will find the grassed area
more suitable.
“An
event for the whole family”
